One is left and one is right. This describes our coastal territories and the pair of shoes on our feet. While more often than not they're screwing up opportunities in the sneaker world, Adidas are risk takers and world renowned innovators of marketing the exact same shoe over and over for the last 35+ years. Today I present another attempt at it and I actually think it's pretty cool. Of course Im'a bit biased being that I customize (do art) on shoes. Anyway, so Adidas commissioned 3 artists in NY and 3 artists in L.A., all of which you will know if you look at HypeBeast daily. Each group got their coastal representation (left/right) of a pair of 15 foot Adidas Superstars and were unleashed for 3 days only to square off at Venice Beach. The result is this video. What are Adidas' plans now that this has been released -- who knows! They'll probably just let it end here which is probably a good idea.

THE POWER OF TAG!
It seems to me that this is a post that should be left in the hands of the incomparable Dane but I couldn't let this one pass by without jumping on it first. For one, I don't think HipHop is dead but it is in trouble as SALES have clearly shown over the last couple years. I know what your thinking. With the likes of Soulja Boy, V.I.C. and John Brown gracing our ears and hearts with their undeniably catchy and well thought out lyrics/hooks what could I be talking about, trouble?
Well when an industry is in DIRE STRAIGHTS as the record business is who do you call on to save you? Tag, Tag Body Spray and Jermaine Dupri. In anticipation of the first single to hit airwaves in May I wanted to alert everybody to that that is.... TAG RECORDS. Incase you were wondering, yes it leads directly to Myspace. See there is hope for all the myspace rappers out there after all.
