Whatever Happened To: T.V.?

T.V. sucks now! I'm at a loss. My favorite current show PUSHING DAISIES has been canceled by ABC and I am left to wallow in disgust at the rate of quality television being issued the "BOOT" by the cheap success of crappy faux Reality & game show television. To this day I am still upset by the cancellation of the greatest show of all time, ARRESTED DEVELOPMENT. Now we can add PUSHING DAISIES to the list of shows that were never given proper due because of the moronic minds that make up the T.V. audience.

Anyway, what ever happened to T.V.? I guess maybe now I have to start looking other places for my viewing pleasure. In comes the internet. No, I'm not talking about porn here (thats only part of the time.) I'm talking about Rob Corddry's new web show Childrens' Hospital. It recently released online at thewb.com, and yes I do mean the former T.V. network The WB. They have been relegated to the online community. This webisode, television series wannabe doesn't have the originality or genius of the two previous mentioned shows, but it is damn funny and being well received on the net. You gotta hurry though because the episodes won't be up much longer. They run until the end of the day on the 31st of December.

Writer/Director Rob Corddry had this to say when asked what the shows about...

“Beautiful doctors playing out awkward sexual politics in front of pre-teen cancer patients.”

I think thats what will pull you in right away. Oh, Robs in clown make-up the whole time too. Check for other comedians & actresses like Ed Helms from The Office, Lake Bell, Rob Hueble, Megan Mullally and even Stephen Colbert as the voice on the intro video. Enjoy!
